Job description
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Health Unit Coordinator in our Med/Surg Unit at Baptist South. This is a Full-Time Evenings opportunity with a commitment of 40 hours per week with shifts from 3pm-11pm. The primary responsibilities of the Health Unit Coordinator will be:
- Performing clerical and secretarial activities of the nursing units;
- Answering call lights and telephones promptly;
- Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment;
- Maintaining patient chart folders;
- Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles;
- Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station;
- Supporting Nurse Managers.
