We are currently seeking a Health Care IT Project Manager to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).
This Health Care IT Project Manager (Project Manager) will be a valued member of the client's Business Services Support team. The Project Manager will provide healthcare business and Project Management subject matter expertise to support the successful implementation of complex health care IT systems and business integration projects. As an integral part of the clients Business Relationship Management (BRM) team, the Project Manager will develop and maintain relationships with client Business and Information Systems staff and their vendors partners, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration. Project Manager will work directly with client staff, vendors partners, other state agency partners, and other information technology stakeholders to provide project management and/or project oversight on complex highly visible healthcare IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager will work to ensure that business needs are met by managing and driving change as well as actively participating in the development and delivery of program and quality management services.

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $91,000-125,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Establish and maintain relationships with the client, including the executive level, and vendor partners.
- Provide Project Management subject matter expertise consistent with the principles and techniques as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Remain current in project management industry trends and processes.
- Manage large, complex, matrixed project from inception through planning, resource acquisition, execution and lessons learned.
- Establish project governance processes that enable timely decision making and issue escalation and resolution that are consistent with the client standards.
- Effectively manage and communicate with different stakeholders including client executives, mitigate challenges, and ensure all project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable.
- Collaborate with matrixed teams to analyze, design, and implement solutions that are strategically and operationally impactful
- Develop client deliverables in accordance with project requirements and TennCare documentation standards.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues before they occur and recommend mitigation strategies to decision makers.
- Develop and/or assist in the review and analysis of complex integrated project schedules to identify potential weaknesses that may contribute to project ambiguity and risk.
- Facilitate discussions amongst multiple business and/or technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicable.
- Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their manager.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in one or more of the following: MMIS, Eligibility, Health and Human Services and/or Commercial Health Care
- Minimum of 5 years leading business transformation initiatives
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing Medium to Large healthcare IT systems implementation projects, preferably in healthcare
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing multi-vendor projects
- Minimum of 10 years of experience using MS Project, Visio, Excel (including the use of formulas and macros), PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) Certification
- Bachelor's degree with relevant healthcare work experience

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, written, presentation and verbal communication ability with senior stakeholders including ability to negotiate priorities and expectations in order to align goals with customer needs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities with minimal direction.
- Proactive, resourceful, and work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, conduct, and direct research into issues, and take the initiative in the development and completion of projects.

- Ability to identify and evaluate existing and potential IT and business challenges.
- Ability to manage collaborated effort to a defined schedule in a highly-matrixed environment
- Working knowledge of System Development/Implementation Life Cycle (SDLC/SILC)
- Capable of conducting executive-level meetings and presentations
- Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
- Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success
