Job Summary
The Head Start & Early Learning Division at LACOE is one of the largest in the nation and contracts with various early childhood education (ECE) agencies that employ a staff of more than 3,000 people to provide direct services to children from birth to five years old and their families within diverse communities throughout Los Angeles County. The Head Start Program Manager, Delegate Fiscal Services plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the activities and assigned staff of the fiscal controls and accountability unit, and also implements the overall program design and management assistance system for the fiscal monitoring of delegate agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a field closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Five years of experience in fiscal management and oversight, including two years of experience in a supervisory fiscal management capacity. Additional Requirements: Work experience in grant management is desired. A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites is required.
