We are seeking a highly productive individual to bring new and innovative ideas and management skills to Parent Child Development Corporation’s Early Head Start and Head Start Programs and Community Partnership.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about serving and supporting low-income children and families by empowering them to achieve their highest potential. Our high quality, early childhood education and family services program supports, guides and mentors families through a broad spectrum of comprehensive service, so our ideal candidate will be skilled at developing personnel and engaging our community leaders.
Our successful candidate will lead staff members in seven Virginia counties (Mathews, Middlesex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King William, New Kent, and Charles City) and the Town of West Point. Programs include Early Head Start and Head Start, Smart Start (Full year, full day preschool and childcare), All Stars (before and after school activities) as well as working with our community partners.
Qualifications and Skills:
A baccalaureate or master’s degree with a concentration in Early Child Education, Child Development, Public or Business Administration, or a related field, is required. A Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
A successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication and systems development skills.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years managerial experience supervising staff, fiscal management, grant writing and administration, working with a nonprofit organization or in a related field is required, with 10+ years of experience preferred.
5 years Head Start and Early Head Start program management experience and understanding of application protocols and reporting systems are preferred. Experience with data collection systems development and output analysis, and creation of concise, accurate reports is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
