The Guided Advisory Director, Wealth Management is responsible for leading and supervising a team of professional level Advisory Consultants who are responsible for delivering advice through virtual interactions for new entrants to engaged participants with varying needs and complexities on the complete spectrum of the organization's products and services. This leader has oversight responsibility for associates that are both broker-dealer and registered investment advisor (RIA) licensed. As a part of the Wealth Management business, this job covers financial planning services and advice to help all participants accomplish their immediate and long-term financial goals. This job is responsible for establishing a collaborative team culture, setting goals and objectives for the team to achieve operational results, along with providing the team with resources for cross training in areas such as retention, asset growth, delivering & implementing advice, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Monitors and coaches associate interactions with participant's questions on their pension plans, tax deferred annuities, managed accounts and other available investment options in order to help clients retain and grow assets.
  • Observes and supervises interactions with participants to ensure the organization’s associates and its clients have clear understanding of all advice and education provided.
  • Provides employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex retirement plan participant virtual interactions or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
  • Ensures team members are equipped with thorough knowledge of tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice based on clients' financial needs and objectives.
  • Communicates internally with cross-business partnerships to develop and implement the organization's products and services to support clients and company initiatives.
  • Identifies and implements the most appropriate processes and procedures for their team to best serve participants.
  • Liaises with appropriate partners within national call center (NCC), individual advisory center (IAC), client relationships, enterprise analytics, marketing, regulatory oversight, compliance and legal.
  • Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and services engagement, motivation, and development of team.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63; Series 65; Series 66; Series 24

Base Pay Range: $125,900/yr. - $209,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
