Grill Cook/Fry Cook
Job description
We are seeking experienced Grill Cooks and Fry Cooks to join our team at our restaurant located at 9501 Brandywine Lane. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and high-quality food items, including grilled meats, vegetables, and among others. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to order, following recipes and guidelines for quality and consistency
- Grill and fry food items to the appropriate temperature and time standards
- Ensure that all food items are properly stored and maintained at the correct temperature
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including personal hygiene
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Grill Cook and/or Fry Cook
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food preparation
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Must be presentable and maintain high standards of personal hygiene
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
