Job Details for Graphics Manager :

• Schedule for Graphics manager: M-F, normal business hours
• Pay Rate: $90k-$100k (Depending on experience)

Job Responsibilities & Description for Graphics Manager:

• Managed day-to-day operations of graphics department, the plate room and related personnel. Maintain a positive work culture, provide guidance, training and mentorship to the Graphics department and help them meet the requirements and techniques necessary to attain the highest level of quality. Ensure continuous improvements to graphic workflows.
• Serve as the creative lead for all design solutions including all graphic design elements.
• Collaborate with customers and new business team during press-proofs to conceptualize, scope and develop project deliverables and timeline. Obtain the desired quality expectations and documents the process for repeatability.
• Participates during new order reviews to set print processes and sequences of colors to meet customer expectations.
• Oversee Press Approvals and Quality control of incoming artwork from separators before they go to press. Maintain knowledge changes in technology that may affect productivity and efficiency. Communicates information as needed.
• Generate and update records, logs, reports and data as required. Maintain files and data as needed. Monitors issues with customers and assists customers and stakeholders.
• Visit customers to provide insight, to solve problems, or to participate in new releases

Job Requirements for Graphics Manager:

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in graphic design, computer graphics, art or equivalent (5+ years' of related experience in the printing industry.)
• Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to interface with all departments.
• Previous leadership experience required in managing a team of designers.
