Generations Healthcare Network provides consulting services to a consortium of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. We are seeking a creative individual to be our Director of Graphic and Web Design, who can take the company brand positioning and strategy ideas and transform them into marketing materials and websites.

You will be working in our Lincolnwood, IL office which is on the northern border of Chicago, near Rogers Park. This is position requires working weekdays in our offices.

Your colleagues will be marketing/business development, recruiting staff, as well as our Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Graphic and Website Designer/Marketing Coordinator:

• Assist with conceptualizing and writing materials for publication by facilities
• Developing and printing facility promotional brochures, flyers, advertisements and special materials for the marketing department in conjunction with VPBD and Regional Directors
• Create and manage advertising programs and social media outlets
• Ensuring brand compliance on all printed materials, advertising pieces, website development, logo selection, copy, etc.
• Design, create and print facility operational information such as newsletters, activity information, postings, etc.
• Assume responsibility for any specialty projects such as customized calendars and automation of company paperwork
• Communicate and maintain relationship with any outside printer and vendor as needed and manage the bid process
• Maintain equipment, purchase and research best price for paper, ink and other necessary products
• Meet with facilities in conjunction with the regional director and VPBD as needed to develop design concepts, gather information, discuss alternatives and review publications
• Monitor overall job production including on-site printing, coordinate interrelated activities with other staff to promote efficient work flow and quality product
• Stay current with the trends in graphic and internal design and associated technology
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Experience in marketing, strategic planning, copy and art direction, graphic design, web design, video and print production
• Have excellent writing and graphic skills - we'll ask to see your portfolio of work
• Must be organized and have extensive knowledge in informational technology and programs for the development of all projects
• Must be able to work well with people.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Extensive knowledge of Wordpress (proficiency in html a plus.)

Work Hours:
