The university is organized into our College of Art, Culture, and Scientific Inquiry; College of Education; Richards College of Business; University College; School of Communication, Film, and Media; Tanner Health System School of Nursing; Honors College; Graduate School; UWG Newnan; and our UWG Douglasville Center.

Job Summary

  • Conducting literature reviews and summarizing research findings.
  • Preparing research materials such as questionnaires, surveys, etc.
  • Assisting in the preparation of research reports, articles, and presentations.
  • Providing administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing communication, and maintaining records.
  • May also be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor or a research team.
  • These duties may include mentoring undergraduate students or assisting with other research-related activities.
  • This is a fall/ spring semester position beginning in Fall 2023 and continuing through Spring 2024.
  • Summer opportunities may be available
  • Must be able to lift 20lb and may require long sitting periods.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
  • Full admission to a UWG graduate program.
  • Good academic standing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Successful completion of researched-based courses
