We have immediate full-time year-round opportunities for General Store Clerks. Join us in our new General Store serving homeowners and guests with your exceptional talent in customer service and knowledge of retail operations. In this position you will work at the direction of the General Store Manager, driving store sales through exceptional guest experience, product offerings and food quality. Execution of deli services, product receiving, stocking and presentation/display. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, especially as it pertains to all retail space, outside patio and public restroom.

Major Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily activities of preparing, receiving, stocking, and displaying all retail items in accordance with standards.
• Crafting and execution of deli services including sandwiches, scooping ice cream, etc. in accordance with quality standards and cleanliness.
• Listen actively and communicate clearly while interacting with customers to promote products and daily activities. Maintain working rapport with all coworkers for efficient operation and service to customers.
• Efficiently monitor daily workflow, product quality, retail floor and public spaces; participate in improving wherever necessary.
• At the direction of the GS Manager, maintain or set up new retail displays based on current industry trends.
• Assist with auditing storeroom, retail floor and walk-ins to maintain consistent quality products ensuring adherence to all health code requirements. Comply with all safety procedures and cleanliness throughout the General Store.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated communicator with ability to comprehend reading, do math computations, correspond with guests or peers, problem analysis/solving and make independent decisions that align with Ranch standards. Must be available to work holidays and weekends.
• Experience highly preferred in a retail operation.
• Have an Oregon OLCC service permit and Deschutes County food handler permit.
• 18 years of age or older preferred.
