General Summary:
Dayspring Restoration is seeking a General Manager to help pave the way for future growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have a multifaceted background within our industry specializing in implementation, management, and execution of day-to-day operational tasks and business unit management. This person will have proven ability to hire, train, develop, and lead a high performing team as well as the ability to assist with strategic planning and meeting various operational growth needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage daily operations to include work performance and procedure maintenance for emergency services, on-site structural cleaning, contents pack-outs/pack-back, repair services, and general business management.
- Management of fleet and logistics for transporting equipment.
- Oversee and maintain warehouse; to include schematics for vaulting, material on-loading and equipment storage.
- Implementation and instruction of training and safety procedures.
- Monitor equipment tracking, storage and procurement of items necessary for projects.
- Responsible for staffing, training, and scheduling of team members to assure maximum productivity.
- Responsible for assuring all customer satisfaction and team engagement are kept at the highest levels
Job Requirements:
- Understand and honor our goal of excellence in all that we do. Expect that of self and others.
- Experience and understanding of insurance invoicing and/or estimating (Xactimate preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in team management
- Professional in dress and demeanor
- High level of accountability for self and others
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proven leadership skills. Provides team with clear direction and expectations and removes obstacles that lead to failure.
- Ability to train and coach process, protocol, and policy as needed
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Utilize CRM job management software to manage job files, notes, status updates, etc. (experience with Solitaire/DASH is a plus).
- Responsible for visiting job sites as needed, ensuring excellent customer service, team efficiency, and a clean and safe environment
- Be available for on-call emergency services and after-hours work if needed
