We have an up to date / well maintained fleet of trucks, trailers, equipment, power & hand tools. Our yard is perfectly located in the center of Truckee, California.... Please Note:

• We provide more than a competitive wage.. we provide a well-rounded package based on listening to our Team Members needs. (*See below for hourly wage ranges and outline of our benefit package).
• We provide a fuel allowance for all team members who drive more than 20 miles (round trip) per day to our yard after (30) days if the average regular gas price is $5.50/gallon or more between (3) of the local gas stations.… See below for other benefits & bonuses!
• Full time help is preferred but we can work with the right part time applicants who have other part time jobs, outside responsibilities, children, etc.
• Applicants who will be driving MUST have a clean DMV record (NO DUI's), own their own transportation, be hard working, energetic, trustworthy, able to take direction, on time and willing to work long days in all types of weather conditions.

Landscape Construction Foreman: (2-4 years minimum experience required)

$27-$31/hr

Landscape Construction Crew Leaders (1-3 years minimum experience required)

$25-$26.75/hr

Equipment Operator: (3+ years minimum experience required) Must be familiar with safely operating Mini Excavator, Skid Steer, Loader and Back Hoe. *(We run Cat, Deere and Bobcat equipment).

$26-$31/hr

Construction Laborers LEVEL #1: (No experience required, training provided)

$20.00 - $22.00/hr

Construction Laborers LEVEL #2: (Must have at least 1-2 years landscape, construction or outdoor work experience. Must be able to operate basic hand tools, power tools and small gas powered equipment.)

$22.25 - $24.00/hr

Fence Construction Foreman: (3 years minimum experience required) Must be able to take fence installation projects from layout through construction and finish.

$27-$31/hr

• MAINTENANCE & DETAIL GARDENING –

Detail Gardening / Maintenance Manager: (5 years minimum experience required). Must be hands on and work / communicate well with our team & clients + be familiar with all aspects of organic gardening, lawn care and account management practices. Must possess local plant / irrigation knowledge and have layout & water management skills. Daily expectations include dispatch, quality control & management of 5-6 crews. Bi-lingual & being familiar with Word / Excel while gaining skills with our CRM system are a bonus.

Starting pay of between $68,000 - $85,000/year + Benefits / Bonuses is based on skill set, experience, certifications, etc.

*This is typically a year round position*

Lawn Maintenance Foreman: (3 years minimum experience required)

$25-$27/hr

Maintenance Crew Leaders: (1-3 years minimum experience required)

Detail Gardening Foreman: (3 years minimum experience required)

$26-$29/hr

Pest Control / Fertilization Apprentice: (No experience required, training provided & cost of California Department of Pesticides Regulation certifications paid for by Peak.)

Maintenance Laborers LEVEL #1: (No experience required, training provided)

Maintenance Laborers LEVEL #2: (At least one year landscape or other construction experience. Must be able to operate basic hand tools and small gas powered equipment.)

• TREE WORK –

Ground Worker: (2-4 years minimum experience required). Must be familiar with all aspects of performing tree work from the ground. Must be safety minded & familiar with safely operating chain saws and chippers.

$26-$30/hr

- TRADES -

Stone Mason: (3-5 years minimum experience in wet set and dry set applications.)

$26-$30/hr starting pay

Irrigation Technician: (3 years minimum experience. Must be capable in service, installation and troubleshooting of residential & commercial systems.)

- OPERATIONS -

Yard Manager / Mechanic / Delivery Driver - (Class "A" drivers license & 2-4 years experience preferred) Must be comfortable loading / unloading materials + equipment and transporting with the use of trailers. Loading materials with a loader, back hoe, mini excavator, skid steer and transporting to different jobs is part of day to day expectations. Must be safety minded, organized, able to manage a fleet of 22+ trucks, 20+ trailers, large / small engine equipment & familiar with basic auto & small equipment repairs / maintenance. *(Welding skills & knowledge of Truckee / North Lake Tahoe area a plus).

$28-$32/hr starting pay

Delivery Driver: (CDL drivers license & 2-4 years experience required) Must be comfortable loading / unloading materials + equipment and transporting with the use of a 10 wheel dump truck & 40' trailer. Loading materials with a loader, back hoe, mini excavator, skid steer and transporting to different jobs is part of day to day expectations. Must be safety minded, drug free, organized & able to communicate well. *(Knowledge of Truckee / North Lake Tahoe area a plus).

$27-$31/hr

Landscape Designer (3 years minimum experience) Must be self motivated, out going, able to take direction, lay out plants and produce well thought out designs in a timely manner.

Starting pay depending on experience, etc.

HR / Recruiter- Must be familiar with recruiting, hiring, onboarding and ongoing HR responsibilities. (*Bilingual a plus) Salary based on experience + commissions based on filling positions & length new team members stays with our organization.

BONUSES

• “Loyalty Bonus” of $100 per season worked. (Paid in August)
• “End of season Bonus” program. (Ranging from $1,200 to $8,000 depending on hours worked during season, position, years with Peak, etc).
• “Winter Bonus” program (Ranging from $600 - $2,000)

VACATIONS

• One week (40-hour PAID Summer vacation) after 3 years of employment.
• 24-hour PAID Winter vacation after 4 years of employment. *(Applies to year around team members).
• Two week (80-hour PAID Summer vacation) after 6 years of employment.

MISC BENEFITS / ALLOWANCES

• Fuel Allowance of 30 cents per mile will be extended to those team members who drive 20 miles or more round trip from there place of residence to our yard (11028 Comstock Dr.) This will take affect after (30) days of employment & only applies to those who drive their vehicles into work.
• This benefit is eliminated when the average regular gas price between (3) Local fuel stations in Truckee dips below $5.50/ gallon
• Uniforms, Rain Gear & Protective Equipment provided.
• Monthly "Safety Celebration" drawing.
• Monthly Drawings if there are no "Company or Client Damages" during the previous month.
• New employee referral incentive program of $2,400 per employee you refer to us. (1/3 paid after 45 days, 1/3 paid after 90 days and the remaining 1/3 paid at end of season).
• We pay for English / Spanish classes & Green industry certifications, seminars & gatherings.
• Cell phone allowance for Foreman + Managers. (*Must work until layoff to receive)
• Ski Pass allowance of $779 for Foreman + Managers. (*Must work until layoff to receive)
• Winters off to do as you please! (Our typical season runs from April to November).
• Join one of our snow shoveling or fair weather winter work crews
