General Labor Job Summary

Looking for a reliable, energetic, laborer willing to learn multiple trades -Must be available 8am-5pm M-F and some Saturdays depending on job deadlines. Must have: transportation to St. Charles, be able to lift 50-100lbs, have basic knowledge of tools and some home repair. Knowledge of the following a plus but not required: Flooring or tile, general carpentry, Painting. We are a small company looking to expand with steady work. Employees are paid weekly. Full and part- time positions available.

General Labor Duties and Responsibilities

· Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment for the job

· Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor

· Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks

· Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner

· Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, etc.

General Labor Requirements and Qualifications

· High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus

· Must be 18 years of age

· Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

· Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels

· Positive attitude and work ethic

· Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

· Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
