We are looking to bring on a Full Time Custodian to our Building Services team
The right candidate must have a strong attention to detail, ability to work well alone & with others and an interest in making a difference in the lives of the elderly.
Full-time, Sunday-Thursday 2p-10:30p
- Sweeps, dusts, scrubs and mops rooms, corridors, washrooms and toilets
- Washes floors, walls, windows and furniture; cleans tables and sinks
- Polishes floors, furniture and metal work
- Vacuums carpets
- Sets up tables and chairs, carries and delivers supplies and materials
- Empties waste baskets and disposes of refuse
- Other duties as requested by the management and residents
Required Skills:
- General knowledge of cleaning materials and methods
- Ability to perform moderately heavy manual labor
- Ability to understand and carry out directions in regard to routine duties
- Ability to interact positively with staff, administration and immediate associates
- Ability to work independently IS A MUST
- Experience preferred, but we will train the right person
