This position currently falls under the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS) vaccine mandate. If you are selected for this position, you will be required to comply with CMS requirements. Summary: The Centralized Scheduler will schedule patients for infusions in our infusion clinics throughout the region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and reschedule as needed.
  • Review patient medical forms, insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations for upcoming appointment.
  • Answer general inquires and provide information, record call statistics in patient logs.
  • Work in conjunction with the IC staff to ensure all patient records, medical forms, insurance and labs are readied for the Infusion Center appointment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college, business, healthcare administration or computer technology preferred.

Experience: 6 months call center and/or healthcare scheduling experience required. Experience with scheduling and/or verifying medical records preferred.

Functional Competencies: Customer Service, good communication, organized with attention to detail, problem solving, excellent telephone & computer skills, knowledge of scheduling & medical benefits.
