We’re Chatham Orthopaedic Associates, the oldest Savannah orthopaedic practice. Established in the 1950s, we have grown to a practice of 12 orthopaedic surgeons and one pain management physician in Savannah, GA and surrounding areas of Richmond Hill, Pooler, and Effingham County. Our team also includes highly skilled physician assistants, nurse practitioners, orthopaedic technicians, imaging professionals and physical, occupational and certified hand therapists.

We are growing and looking to add (1) front desk representative to the team.

Ideal Candidates:

• Minimum education: high school diploma
• Front desk experience is desired, but not required.
• Connect well with patients and are comfortable talking to patients.
• Have a positive attitude and work well in a team setting.
• Have a strong work ethic and are self-starters.

Duties:

• Greets patients upon arrival, and checks patients into the practice management system.
• Assures all demographic, insurance, and medical history information is updated and entered; reviews scanned picture ID and Insurance cards in the system to ensure current insurance benefit cards are entered before clinical staff are notified of patient’s arrival.
• Collects all co-pays and outstanding balances at the time of patient check-in.
• Batch prints all paper forms needed for office visits and treatments one day prior to appointment.
• Copies and supplies each area with appropriate paper forms.
• Rotates working Urgent Care night clinics and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
