POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Coordinator/Front Desk Specialist is a dynamic position that is the first point of contact for a Moving Mountains guest arrival and, therefore, the ‘Face and Voice of the Brand’! The role is often referred to as “Operations Coordinator” as the position is part of the Operations Team. Our guests talk to this person daily, trusting them to resolve house-related issues should they arise. This customer service and logistics role requires strong computer and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for communication with guests from arrival day through departure day through texting and phone calls.
- Become familiar with the inventory of all homes, components, and amenities.Update existing and create new houseguides.
- Conduct residence walk-throughs with all arriving guests (in person and virtually); introducing guests to the important safety points and functionality of their unique home along with an official welcome to Moving Mountains and Steamboat.
- Consistent coordination and communication with Sales Team, General Manager, Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisors to ensure the guest experience exceeds expectations during their stay.
- Provides overall office administrative support; answering telephones and greeting people who enter our office.
- Monitors guest feedback to find solutions within the team to solve challenges.
- Responsible for ensuring the preparation of all guest arrivals and properties are ready for guests.
- Winter: monitor and oversee shuttle service.
- Receive, log and coordinate package delivery for guests and office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous operations or guest service experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, or related industries.
· Ability to learn the operation and functionality of features within each home; this includes TVs, speaker systems, hot tub instructions, elevators, HVAC, etc. This person will instruct guests on this information during walkthroughs and through each stay.
· Familiar with software such as Track, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel), Hostfully, Breezeway, Zingle texting app, Lynx Lock is a plus).
· Ability to handle a high-pressure work environment and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high standard of service.
· Ability to juggle several software programs and apps on a desktop computer and cell phone apps.
· Ability to communicate promptly and professionally to teammates and guests; strong typing and grammar skills are a must.
· Must have a valid driver’s license or CDL with a clean driving record.
Flexible working hours and the ability to work regularly on weekends are required. Consistent availability 20-30 hours per week.
· Must live in or be able to commute to our office in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
