The Hotel Front Agent position serves as the face of our business and senior management’s connection with our guests. We’re looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. The candidate must possess strong customer service skills in order to respond quickly to guests’ needs and complaints. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and follow proper check-in/check-out procedures
• Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts
• Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required
• Communicate with housekeeping and management in a friendly and professional manner
• Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk
• Refer guests to local attractions, restaurants and venues
• Some minor troubleshooting (example: helping a guest work the TV remote)
• Help stock breakfast - no cooking required
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Previous hospitality experience preferred (but not required)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communications skills

If you’ve worked in the hospitality industry before, we definitely want to talk to you. However, we’re willing to train the right applicant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability
