What we want you to accomplish:
Support Sales Operations, K-12/College General Managers and Supply Chain stakeholders to provide revenue forecasting, reporting and analytics to drive best outcomes and deliver on sales commitments.
Coordinate with operations controllers to assess customer and product profitability, standard margin, contribution margin and corresponding drivers including impact of price/volume/mix.
Support IT Function with their monthly General and Administrative (G&A) expenses and reporting.
Become a trusted Finance business partner to the IT Function, helping to manage monthly/quarterly/annual budgeting and forecasting of operating expenses
Be viewed as a trustworthy business partner that enables the Executive leadership team to understand and explain cost performance versus targets

Core Activities:
Support revenue planning and reporting processes
Support IT function with financial analysis and reporting
Develop and create financial dashboards within Excel, Anaplan and Power BI that convey ongoing performance to an executive audience
Aid in development and implementation of new business planning tools to provide increased insight into Herff Jones’ operations
Influence business decisions by providing effective analyses for a variety of areas such as IT capital investments, cost reduction, and expense controls
Analyze historical spend, monitor monthly expenses and partner with leadership to create processes that allows more accurate monthly and annual forecasts

Successfully develop business partnerships with various functions throughout the organization
Be a sought-after resource on special projects and analytics requests
Proven success across previous organizations that show leadership and capability
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn and an ability to deliver a high quality / accurate work product
Multiple examples driving process improvements
Highly analytical and detail orientated with proven ability to develop new ideas and deliver solutions
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, and drive projects to completion
Demonstrated financial and/or analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis

Education / Certifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Preferred 1-2 years general experience within a manufacturing environment
Preferred experience in a role requiring healthy business partnership or consulting
Demonstrated experience driving process improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with diverse people across different functions/cultures
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
Experience in MS Office applications, particularly Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint
