ACCEL Schools is hiring a Food Service Aide at Monroe Preparatory Academy in Sandusky, Ohio. The Food Service Aide assists with lunch activities and helps to promote positive student behaviors in both academics and extra-curricular activities. The Food Service Aide provides oversight to ensure student safety and a positive school climate. The Food Service Aide assists the School Leader and Teachers by administering the assigned duties in conformity with the philosophy and policies of ACCEL Schools, the assigned school, the school's governing board, the State Board of Education, and all applicable laws.

Founded in 2014, ACCEL Schools is a K-12 public charter school management organization (CMO) across the United States. We manage a network of over 50 charter schools within Ohio and surrounding states. Monroe Preparatory Academy, located on a safe and secure historic downtown campus, is the first tuition-free public charter school to open in the Sandusky area. Highly rated by the Ohio Department of Education, the elementary and middle school provides a standards-based curriculum enriched with education technology to accelerate student learning and readiness. A caring and qualified staff values high expectations for academics and behavior and develops well-rounded individuals who are intrinsically motivated to be lifelong learners. Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
• Ability to work well under pressure
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Previous work experience working with youth or in a school setting desired
