Grill in the Woods is a restaurant located on Druids Glen Golf Course. We are an upper end casual dining restaurant with 30 beers on tap, a rotating wine list, great signature drinks, and fresh, flavorful, exciting food. A view of Mount Rainier from our dining room while watching golfers finish their round will be part of environment on a daily basis. We offer catered events as well as just casual dining. Purpose/ Summary:

To serve and provide exceptional service and hospitality to every guest in the restaurant while participating in team work ensuring absolute guest satisfaction. Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner. Thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of Grill in the Woods menu and prices and can make recommendations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet incoming guests immediately whenever possible
• Has thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu and make suggestions to customers
• Take orders and serve food and/or beverage to customers
• Cashiering duties including preparing checks and processing payment through POS system
• Ensuring cleanliness in dining area including but not limited to removing dishes from tables and taking them to the kitchen for cleaning, refilling sauces, and cleaning sauce containers as needed
• Set up tables in preparation for the next guest
• Stock service areas with supplies when needed
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per Grill in the Woods guidelines
• Ensure compliance with Grill in the Woods code of ethics, integrity and conduct

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of food retail experience in a fast paced environment, specifically as a server
• Friendly attitude with excellent guest service skills
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment
• Must be able to work flexible schedules
• High School diploma preferred
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process

Physical demands:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk
• Ability to bend and lift frequently
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally
• Ability to squat occasionally

Work environment:

• Work will be conducted in a kitchen and restaurant environment
• May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment
• May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces
• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud
