Responsibilities:
- Supervise the production process and ensure that all products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Manage the production team and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively
- Ensure that all machines and equipment are operating at peak efficiency and are properly maintained
- Implement and maintain sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that all raw materials and finished products are available when needed
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet customer specifications
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that production meets customer demand
- Continually look for ways to improve production processes and increase efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, co-packing, machine operation, plant production, production, and sanitation
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or related field is preferred
