FOOD ASSOCIATE*
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Food Service Associate/Cook is responsible for the preparation of food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. You are also responsible for customer orders, cooking menu items, and receiving/stocking items.
COOK/ORDER TAKER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Line Set-up

• Stocking/Receiving

• Taking of Customer Orders

• Cooking Menu Items

• Prep

• Cleaning/Sanitation

• Understand and comply with proper food preparation, cooking, handling, and storage.

• Understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety, and equipment usage.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to be organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a face paced environment.

• Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.

• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs at times.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.

• Ability to travel locally for outside catering functions as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• 1+ year of cooking or kitchen experience preferred
