Food and Beverage Director
Reports to: General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for all F&B operations and for delivering fun and escapism to every guest. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee License to Chill Bar & Grill, Joe Merchants Coffee Shop and the kitchen.
- Greet and welcome all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Maintain dining room, bar, coffee shop, kitchen and banquet areas according to health department standards.
- Responsible for ordering to maintain inventory levels according to occupancy levels.
- Screen, interview, hire and coach food and beverage staff.
- Manage promotional drink specials and menu items.
- Coordinate guest entertainment and activities for the bar areas.
- Participate in MOD schedule.
- Provide ongoing training to all employees.
- Assist staff as needed and fill shifts if necessary.
- Responsible to uphold the standard operating procedures as set by Margaritaville Corporate to maintain consistency and brand management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience preferred
- Must maintain professional appearance at all times
- ABC license required
- Be able to pass a background check and have no felony convictions
- Long hours sometimes required
- Light work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently or consistently to lift, carry, push pull or otherwise move objects
