A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Fluid system project engineer you make sure that our contractual requirements are met for a certain project by implementing our reference design or modifying the reference design when contractual obligations require it. You specify various components such as valves, heat exchangers, pumps, and instrumentation accordingly. After that you implement all these various components to an overall skid design and make sure our suppliers follow our requirements. You are the interface between our supplier and our customer to deliver our product such as Hydraulic and Lube Oil Skid in quality and time. You will also be the lead interface to our internal partners for items such as piping interfaces, electrical loads, foundation interfaces and controls instrumentation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Primary Contact for all Fluid Systems related questions for Lube Oil Package, Hydraulic Skid, etc.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers. Support site activities and troubleshoot as required.
• Develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) utilizing COMOS for all systems.
• Provide technical Specifications and Review technical Documents such as vendor drawings, Bill of Material, etc.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Eager to learn and acquire experience in related cross-discipline areas. Able to prioritize work and compete tasks.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) across multi-functional teams
• Proficient in MS Office and Siemens Energy tools such as Fabasoft and COMOS.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

About the Team

The Fluid System Team provides entire Large Rotating Auxiliary Systems such as Hydraulic System, Lube Oil system, Valves and Actuators etc. for Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines and Generator.

We collaborate with internal and external partners such as I&C and Piping departments but also with external partner. Our scope consists of overall system design and requires overall engineering knowledge.
