Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for an individual to assist the team as a Flight Nurse OR Flight Paramedic for our Air Link team.

To serve this mission, you will be responsible for delivering care to critically ill and injured patients during transport, primarily by aircraft. The Flight Nurse also provides patient care in the hospital according to RWMC policy.

As an RWHS Flight Nurse or Paramedic, you will:

• Deliver care to critically ill or injured patients during transport, primarily by aircraft
• Perform patient assessment and evaluation using accepted procedures and equipment to determine life threatening, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent medical and traumatic patient complaints
• Perform interventions based on assessment findings, following patient care protocols, and Air Link protocols in cooperation with the flight paramedic and monitoring physician

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; OR graduated from an accredited Paramedic program, CCEMT-P preffered.
• A current State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License; must have WY license after being hired. Paramedics must be licensed in NE, WY, CO and SD.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, certifications required
• NRP, TPACTC (or ATLS audit) provider, preferred and instructor encouraged
• EMT-B, P preferred
• Advanced certification (CFRN) must be acquired within 2 years of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Three years of demonstrated clinical experience as a critical care or emergency nurse
• Flight experience preferred
• Pre-hospital transport suggested
