Responsibilities for this job can include:

Reporting to your assigned accounts in a timely manner within their hours of operation (Or prior to, depending on the account). Most work will be completed between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. In some ways, you will have job/hours flexibility in your position to fit your needs, as long as account needs are addressed.

Provide care for plants on accounts. This includes: giving them water to last until your next visit (the following week), but being careful to not over-water; trimming any damaged or dying leaf/flower material from the plant; provide fertilizer when needed to supply the plant with nutrients needed to be successful.

Be able to communicate with account representatives about work being done or needing to be done. Professional interactions are expected of service technicians at all times.

Have a reliable form of transportation. This position is travel based with 40 miles of our Greenhouse. Your car is how you will get around between accounts for your daily workload. Mileage paid (current rate at $0.585/mile) for your work distance traveled. This starts after you leave your first account for the day, and ends when you arrive at your last account. Commute mileage is not paid.

Seasonally, have flexibility to work additional hours when we are installing or removing Holiday Décor.

A passion for plants is a great plus for this position. A willing, can-do, positive and problem-solving personality does well for this position. Bilingual (Spanish-English) is not necessary, but is highly considered.

Prior professional plant experience is not required for this position, but plant experience is preferred.

Horticultural background is appreciated. No Education necessary.

Legal citizens with the ability to work need only apply. COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations are required based on client/account needs (Many of our accounts require vaccination prior to entry to the account, so COVID-19 and Regular Flu vaccines are necessary for this position).
