GroGreen Solutions of Georgia is a Wholesale Manufacturer and Distributor of Erosion Control Products for Professional and Industrial Projects. We are currently looking for an experienced diesel technician/mechanic to join our team in Juliette, Georgia.

Responsibilities

Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on Flatbed and Van body trailers and equipment with in planned time tolerances to maximize the safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet

Perform (Annual) inspections on all fleet trailers and any other company-owned equipment in accordance with all federal, state and local legal and regulatory agencies

Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, light-duty vehicles, forklifts and any other company-owned equipment

Perform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet trailers including, light-duty vehicles, and any company-owned equipment

Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely, and efficiently

Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to, brake systems, mechanical and electrical systems.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Forklifts.

Follow procedures including documenting all work performed on work orders

Qualifications

• Annual Inspector Certification -
• Brakes and Annual Inspector Certification
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair
• Current and valid driver's license

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Juliette, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
• Forklift Repair: 2 years (Preferred)
• diesel or automotive repair: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Annual Inspections Certification (Preferred)
• Brake Inspections Certification (Preferred)
