OVERVIEW:

The Fleet Technician is responsible for performing truck preventative maintenance and services to ensure maximum uptime for lease and rental customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform PM services such as oil or fluid changes, DOT inspections, grease/lube, etc. in regular intervals and completing appropriate paperwork or business system tasks to track & follow-through.
• Perform truck services as needed beyond typical PMs – such as alternator/starter replacement, A/C service, light body repairs, radiator or cooling system services, brake services, etc.
• Ability to diagnose issues with vehicles and communicate with management or customers.
• Perform truck check-in or check-out procedures such as light cleanup, washing, refueling, removing decals or license plates, basic inspections of components under supervision of technicians.
• Ability to drive trucks or company cars between locations as needed.
• Complete all safety and technical training for Idealease Fleet Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required
• Valid CDL required or ability to obtain one

• High School Diploma or equivalent educational experience
• 3+ Years of Technician Experience, fleet or dealership.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs and carry a distance of 5 feet. Must be able to climb a ladder (5-8 feet) and work on a platform on occasion. Periodic bending, reaching, kneeling, or working on a creeper

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
