Proud to be a 100% Employee-Owned Company (ESOP), The Tradesmen Group, LLC is seeking a skilled, experienced, flat roofer who brings at least 2 years of experience working with modified bitumen roofing systems, PMMA and other low slope systems along with associated metal & copper flashings & counter flashings.

Primary duties

• Remove existing roofing system and associated items per plans/specs with roof crew
• Maintain temporary dry-in conditions at all times with roof crew
• Repair and prepare deck for installation of insulation and new roof membrane
• Layout and install roof materials per plans/spec with roof crew
• Install flashing & counter flashing per plans/spec with roof crew
• Daily cleanup with the roofing crew

Essential Skills & Employment Criteria:

• Trained & experienced in roof demolition/removal
• Trained & experienced in roof temporary dry-in procedures
• Trained & experienced in the application of modified bitumen membrane, PMMA and other low slope single ply membranes
• Ability to work independently when needed without direct supervision and remain on task
• Knowledge of power tools, general construction equipment, roofing, basic sheet metal, and basic carpentry is required
• OSHA 10 hr training is required prior to job start
• Ability to pass a security clearance
