We are seeking a full-time Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be an integral senior management team member. They will perform financial planning and analysis to ensure the organization's financial health. The Manager of FP&A will lead all financial planning activities, forecasts, reporting, and analysis across the organization. They will provide management with information and analysis to make better business decisions and provide leadership in financial forecasting, efficiency improvements, reporting enhancements, and risk.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all daily, monthly, and year-end financial planning and analytical functions and processes.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analytical reports for the CFO, CEO, Senior Management Team, and the Board of Directors.
  • Implement modern budgeting and planning systems necessary to increase transparency and accountability around financial planning and budgeting.
  • Analyze financial results and variances, identify trends, and report results in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with the CFO and Finance leadership team, communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and to build strong working relationships.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of budgets required for restricted grant revenues.
  • Ensure compliance with cost allocation policies, and ensure transactions are budgeted and planned in compliance with uniform guidance code.
  • Consistently align with all divisions of Finance team on budget-related matters.
  • Prepare draft budgets and forecasts, along with supporting narratives
  • Provide a strategic perspective on the organization’s finance and planning needs
  • Lead the administration and periodic review of financial budgeting and planning software systems and tools
  • Increase productivity by automating processes
  • Provide orientation and training on relevant financial systems for staff at all levels
  • Assist in all strategic initiatives undertaken by the finance team
  • Project management, as needed and assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in budgeting
  • Bachelor's required, Master's preferred
  • Excellent spreadsheet, database, and technology skills; Google Sheets preferred
  • Ability to adapt to new technological tools
  • Demonstrated experience with nonprofit financial budgeting
  • Experience with Financial Edge a plus
  • A proven ability to identify and drive impactful financial outcomes and manage complex projects across multiple teams
  • A proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and to build strong working relationships

**Salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications
