Job Summary

• Must be local or willing to relocate - Hybrid Schedule - Three days in the office are required (T-Thur)
• For out of town candidates, per diem is offered at $640/week
• Location Information: They would be required to travel once a month to Surry VA. Main location will be at Glenn Allen, VA.

High Level Project Overview:

• Serve as Digital Team Cost Controls Analyst to support Project Managers with multi-million dollar capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops the Digital Project annual budget, monthly forecasts, and rider filing data.
• Prepares monthly forecast and variance reports for assigned projects.
• Requires knowledge of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) required for month-end liabilities and reporting.
• Implements internal control policy and procedures.
• Serves as a liaison between the project management team and various internal groups, such as accounting and finance.
• Ability to develop Ad Hoc MS Excel models to summarize large data sets.
• Ability to lead meetings at station location periodically.

• Self-starter and makes decisions independently.
• Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards.
• Proactive in identifying and solving problems of high complexity.
• Strong organizational skills and analytical / logical approach.
• Ability to synthesize diverse information (technical, schedule, and cost) and exercise good judgment.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems

Soft skill requirements
o Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Nice to Have Skills:
o SAP, Excel, Power Query

Preferred Years of Experience:

• 5+

Education:

• Bachelors degree plus 5 years of cost or finance experience or estimating experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Other education – Accounting, Business, Finance, Construction management.

Ideal Background
o Nuclear, Construction, Manufacturing, Utility

OT durring Peak periods, such as month end, yearend, budget planning periods

Location = Glen Allen VA

Rate = $50-$60/hr

Length = 1+ Years W2 Contract - Possible long term/extension for the right candidate

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
