The Financial Analyst will join our Finance Team located in Florida. The qualified candidate will perform financial calculations and provide various reports and summarize relevant data. This role will monitor and analyze business trends and forecasts for both the organization and its competitors using publicly available data; providing financial data for Avis, Budget, and Payless brands management, auditors, and partners.

What you’ll do:

• Perform various financial calculations, including the rate of return, budgeting, depreciation, working capital, P&L, and other financial and expense performance comparisons.
• Create specified ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts of financial data.
• Model various financial conditions and business operations.
• Forecast, analyze, and provide a summary of trends in sales, finance, and general business conditions.
• Track economic models related to operational performance.
• Provide financial information and support to management, corporate functions, and also positions within field operations.
• Work with the organization’s IT function to develop reporting and tracking systems to accurately compile and run financial data.
• Meet regularly with District Managers to gather business needs and track spending
• Perform month-end closing activities, JE preparation, and ad hoc closing reports.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required.
• 2 years of experience in a Corporate similar function.

Skills and abilities you should have:

• Ability to analyze, compile, interpret, and summarize data.
• Knowledge of financial calculations, reporting, and valuation methodologies.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical & computer skills, Excel and Word is a MUST
• Oracle, Tableau, SQL, and Macro skills are a plus.
