Iroquois Financial, a subsidiary of Iroquois Federal, has an opening for a Financial Advisor to work in all of our Illinois market areas. Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction / OSJ is in Watseka, Illinois, with a non-registered meeting location in Danville, Illinois, and meeting spaces in Champaign, Savoy, Clifton, Hoopeston and Bourbonnais.

Responsibilities

The Financial Advisor will proactively develop a client base to which appropriate wealth management products can be sold. Duties will include:

• Working with clients to understand their goals, concerns, and current financial information. Analyzing information to create a plan with appropriate strategies, products, and services.
• Advising the client regarding the advantages, risks, and disadvantages of different products.
• Developing leads, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer needs.
• Maintaining and further developing a base of clients who value your input and guidance.
• Working with clients to keep their financial plans current and aligned with their goals, building relationships with clients that will last for years.
• Maintaining all necessary licenses and registrations as required.
• Successfully completing all mandatory training in a timely manner.
• Exceeding customer expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Active Securities Licensing Series 7, 66 or 7, 63, 65.
• Clean FINRA BROKERCHECK report.
• Solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and consistent accuracy with all data.
• Highly articulate and able to explain complex information clearly and simply.
• Strong relevant computer skills.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
• Active Life and Health Insurance License.
