Job description
We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to maintain our financial records, including donations, receipts, and payments. This position would work closely with the Executive Director to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements, compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and payments. Our ideal candidate holds an associate or bachelor’s degree in finance or business and is familiar with QuickBooks. Ultimately, this individuals’ responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Manage our donation tracking database and update as needed.
- Collect and process daily mail.
- Maintain daily booking keeping records and bank deposits.
- Reconcile bank and investment statements.
- Process campaign donations.
- Manage grant payments and distribution.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Assist accounting firm with tax audit information.
- Create reports and financial statements for Board of Directors.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Implement appropriate collection methods.
- Manage the office supplies and order any maintenance needs.
- Answers phone/resource information and referral.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing internal financial records, including maintaining accounts payable and receivable and reconciling banking and investment accounts.
- Direct experience with spreadsheets and QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Customer service skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way.

- The ability to meet deadlines.
- Associate degree or greater in finance or business.
