Field Service Engineer (Remote -Chicago area)

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:

In this role you will install, support maintains, and repair high-availability switchgear used primarily on customer sites in data centers and similar.

Customer, listen to their needs and challenges and help them. In some cases, it will be hands-on with testing and repair and in others, you will seek out the resources, and connections that are needed and follow up to make certain the customer’s need was resolved

All engagements will be conducted with the utmost professionalism and the highest safety concerns in mind.

Your communication skills will serve you well as you engage with Project Managers, Engineers, Facilities professionals, and various site personnel
THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:
- 5+ years of experience with electrical and or electronic equipment
- Understanding and passion for electrical and/or electronics
- Ability to problem solve, work independently
- Communications, listening skills
Preferred:
- Associates level in electrical/electronic major preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with electrical power distribution systems or electronics
