We are currently seeking a Field Inspector to join our team of energy efficiency experts.

The focus of this position is verification of newly constructed homes to HERS, EPA's ENERGY STAR Program, Federal Incentives/National Programs, and other Utility Programs. The Field Inspector is responsible for performing inspections at residential development sites.

Looking for a candidate in any of the following cities: Arlington, Smokey Point, Granite Falls, Lochsloy, Jordan

Responsibilities:

• Conduct energy testing on new homes, including blower door tests, duct leakage tests, and other diagnostic tests to measure energy efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform site inspections to ensure that construction meets building codes and energy efficiency standards.
• Work closely with builders, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate findings and provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Experience conducting energy testing on new homes and interpreting test results.
• Knowledge of building codes, energy efficiency standards, and construction practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Certification as a HERS Rater, BPI Building Analyst, or equivalent is preferred (training will be provided by the company to receive these certifications)
• One or more years of residential construction or energy auditing experience OR 2-year degree in a related field.
