Job description
We are seeking a Facility Maintenance associate for a manufacturing facility located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This position will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on the interior and exterior of the facility.
Facility Maintenance Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Previous industrial cleaning / industrial janitor experience required
- Operate floor cleaning/scrubbing equipment REQUIRED
- Minimum of 1 year Hilo/Forklift operating experience
- Valid drivers license
- Maintain floor, aisles and grounds at a high standard of cleanliness
- General cleaning of building, restrooms, production areas
- Routine maintenance and industrial cleaning internal and external to facility
- Empty, remove and recycle waste bins throughout facility, office and manufacturing areas
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned
- Experience operating fork trucks required, will provide additional training
1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday - Friday, occasional weekends
