IMMEDIATELY HIRING FOR FABRICATOR TECHNICIAN

Pay Range: $20/-$24 an hr. Plus, a $1,000 sign-on bonus

Hiring for 1st Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday.

As a Fabricator Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. You will join a highly trained and skilled team of material processors and report to a Production Supervisor. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Handles and moves various sizes of steel plates: Measures and cuts various steel, tubing, and angle pieces.
• Punches and drills holes in various steel components. Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece.
• Hammers, chips, and grinds work pieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal.
• Positions, aligns, fits, and welds together parts; and fabricates and assembles sheet metal products.
• Designs and constructs templates and fixtures; and verifies conformance of workpieces to specifications.
• Set up and operates machine tools associated with fabricating shops such as press brake, shears, punch press, and material handling equipment.
• Possible need to travel to PPG or customer sites.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years of welding experience (including MIG, TIG, STICK ).
• Basic Blueprint reading experience required.
• Needs to have basic knowledge of plumbing PVC pipe and fittings.
