EXPERIENCED CUTTER (SILVERLAKE LOS ANGELES)

Custom clothing studio in the entertainment industry seeking an experienced fabric cutter who can keep up with a fast paced environment. Immediate opening in the Silverlake area.

‪Responsibilities:‬

Preparing material to sew into a garment or pattern by measuring, placing marks, and cutting the fabric or textile to the proper specifications

Laying fabric

Tracing patterns

Organize patterns, samples, trims, etc.

Quality control

‪Requirements:‬

Must be comfortable cutting any type of fabric
Must be comfortable sewing with any type of fabric such as: stretch fabrics, leather, vinyl, dancewear, traditional wovens, nontraditional fabrics such as plastic, lace, power mesh, nylon, denim, etc.
Ability to work calmly and quickly in a fast paced environment without sacrificing quality
Problem solver - open to working with non-traditional fabrics
Great communication skills - Team player, works well with others.
Professional attitude, diligent, reliable, inspires trust
Detail Oriented
Ability to work well under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
