Elliott Bay Animal Hospital is currently seeking a part-time treatment assistant to support our seven-doctor veterinary practice.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is looking for long-term and stable employment with an independently-owned, established veterinary practice. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, reliable and self-starting. The treatment assistant will be responsible for helping maintain the hospital facilities and provide supportive care for in-hospital patients as needed. Duties to include cleaning, laundry, stocking of shelves, help exercising pets, supportive pet care as needed and overall hospital organization and facilities management.

Qualifications

The well-qualified candidate will:

• A positive work ethic, and the ability to take on new and challenging tasks with a good attitude
• Have previous experience in customer service (previous veterinary industry a plus, but not required)
• Be detail oriented and enjoy a fast-paced work environment
• Be a fast, efficient learner
• Exhibit dedication to team and patient care
• COVID-19 vaccination required (only exemptions/accommodations will be for documented medical history or conditions for which COVID immunization is contraindicated)

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
