The Fort Morgan Area Chamber of Commerce is a vibrant, growing community of member, business, and nonprofit organizations from the Fort Morgan Colorado area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative officer for the Fort Morgan Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Oversees the planning and execution of all Chamber events.
• Actively engages the Fort Morgan business and non-profit community as a brand ambassador for the chamber, including promoting the benefits of a Chamber membership.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Outstanding public speaking and presentation ability
• Excellent written communication skills
• Outstanding time management and event planning
• Ability to work a wide and flexible range of business hours
• Strong ability to listen, receive feedback, and foster teamwork and collaboration between Board members, staff, Chamber members, community leaders, and strategic committees and organizations in the Fort Morgan area
• Excellent customer service and personal representation of the Chamber and community
• Proficient in computer operations and systems

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

• Associate's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field preferred; or comparable professional training and experience.
• Knowledge of the local business community and economic landscape of the Fort Morgan area.
• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit organization of business association.
• Demonstrated experience in working with a board, managing volunteers, and leading teams to achieve common goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
