Executive Assistant with bi-lingual Japanese speaking and writing skills.
OVERALL PURPOSE
The Executive Assistant performs a broad range of administrative duties for the President & CEO. The EA communicates with and supports other Alps Alpine executives when needed, and coordinates activities with Alps Alpine Japan Headquarters’ Executive Assistants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Exercise frequent independent judgment within agreed upon limitations to make administrative decisions and take action on behalf of their superior based on knowledge of the company's organization, policies, processes and personnel.
· Coordinate the CEO’s schedule and travel.
· Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.
· Create and distribute executive correspondence.
· Research and prepare reports on industry subjects.
· Process invoices for payment by the Finance Department.
· Positions that fall under the functions of Product Development, Legal, HR, IT and Executive Management are required to exercise a higher level of confidentiality and discretion in handling information the positions have access to.
QUALIFICATIONS
· EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree preferred and four or more years of experience as an office administrator or office manager or equivalent combinations of experience, training and education. Japanese communication skills required (oral and written).
