Executive Assistant to Head of School

Employment Status: Full Time

Department: Administrative
Reports To: Head of School
Supervises: None
Relates To: Administration, Faculty, Parents, Students and Community

Position Description: Our mission at Bracken Christian School is to disciple students so that they seek Jesus, embrace truth, and radically transform their community for His Glory.

The Executive Assistant is expected to uphold the vision, mission and values of Bracken Christian School, while providing support to the Head of School, administration and faculty as directed by the Head of School.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Has a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Three years experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties.

Experience:

• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony
• Prior Christian school experience
• Proven ability to embrace the responsibility for being a spiritual role model for
• students
• Knowledge of office and nonprofit management practices
• Proficient in G-Suite applications
• Project management and reporting skills
• Ability to maintain school partnerships and facilitate special projects
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating meetings
• Drafting memos and preparing communications
