Position Description:

The purpose of the position is to promote an exceptional service experience at the luxury event while making sure traffic flows safely for all guests. Events can take place anywhere in the tristate area. The valet driver associate will be responsible for opening vehicle doors, greeting, parking, and promoting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Associate must have a pleasant and professional demeanor: ability to graciously interact with guests and vendors.
• Open venue and vehicle doors.
• Park and retrieve vehicles.
• Associate must work in conjunction with the APC Valet Team to maintain a smooth and safe traffic flow.

Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• Follow APC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to think preemptively and provide exceptional service.
• Well-groomed professional appearance
• Flexible schedule. Most events take place in the evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and run for long periods throughout assigned shift
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Physical demands described in this job description must be met in order to perform essential job functions
• All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of high-end residential or hotel experience as Bellman, Porter, Door Attendant, Greeter, Server, Host, Event Staff.
• Shift leader, Supervisor, Manager or Leadership positions in industries such as luxury, residential buildings, retail, warehouse, security, hotel, hospitality, restaurant, porters.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Varied/event-based schedule that takes place mostly in the evenings and weekends.
• Flexible schedule, ability to make your own schedule.
