H&M is also a founding member of the ET&D Partnership, a collaborative industry partnership working to reduce fatalities, injuries, and illnesses in the construction industry is currently recruiting for Equipment Operators in the Wenatchee, WA area.

Equipment Operator Major Job Elements:

• Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
• Carrying out minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning.
• Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
• Operate rubber tire backhoe/mini excavator under 20,000lb.
• Be able to understand and comply with trench safety and regulations.
• Backfill and compact trench to specifications as well as clean up surrounding area and restore.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating a rubber tire backhoe
• Valid driver’s license. CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement is preferred.
• This position requires significant time doing manual labor functions, walking on uneven ground, working in tight spaces and in general, being overall physically demanding.
• Must perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
• Able to work up to 5 day weeks in an all-weather environment is required.
• Must successfully operate the equipment to the satisfaction of the construction supervision.
• Required to pass drug test
