Do you have mechanical maintenance experience? Do you enjoy troubleshooting and repairing equipment? Are you looking to get your foot in the door with an established local business? A company in Apple Creek is looking for an experience Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join their team for 3rd shift.

Duties:

• Inspects and tests machinery, equipment, structures, and materials to diagnose malfunctions, and locate damage, defects, or wear.
• Discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
• Installs, dismantles, reassembles, and moves machines and equipment as needed
• Use hand tools such as rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery, equipment and facility needs.
• Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Installs, repairs, and adjusts motors, pumps, VFD’s, and related equipment
• Adjusts, resets, and calibrates sensors, controls, machines, and equipment to optimal specifications and efficiency
• Development, fabrication, assembly, and installation of conveyor systems, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Maintains and repairs conveyor systems, counters, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
• Maintains adherence to predictive and preventative maintenance program schedule
• Reads and interprets technical information including manuals, equipment repair manuals, blueprints, and/or schematics to facilitate troubleshooting, installation, and repair duties
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, problems, progress, and continuing needs
• Follows safe work practices without fail
• Maintains organized and orderly work area

Hours: 3rd 11p-7a. Pay: BOE
