Rivermaid Trading Company, a leading grower, packer, shipper of California cherries and pears, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join it’smanagement team in Lodi, CA.

The EHS Manager will work to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and be responsible for developing and managing a formal environmental program at the Lodi campus. The EHS Manager will report to the CEO. The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $120,000, determined based on skillset, experience, training, job performance, certification and longevity of service.

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Core Responsibilities:

• Implements and maintains EHS programs, documents and records in accordance with all regulatory compliance requirements.
• Administers EHS trainings for employees, visitors and vendors.
• Conducts EHS audits and assists in executing corrective actions.
• Conducts incident and injury/illness reports.
• Investigate and properly report workers compensation incidents.
• Work with workers compensation adjusters to manage and administer claims.
• Provides EHS guidance and daily support to plant personnel.
• Develops risk reduction strategies.
• Acts as a liaison for regulatory inspections.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience, Skills and Competencies:

• At least five (5) years of work experience in EHS.
• Experience with, but not limited to, CalARP, EPA, OSHA/CalOSHA PSM, CERS/HMBP, CARB.
• Experience with waste water and storm water systems desired.
• Ability to lead others on EHS programs and implementing strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
• Ability to flex work schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree desired.
• Safety certifications preferred (ASP/CSP/QISP).
