As a software engineer for the Multipurpose Interactive Trainers team, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integrating tactical software onto a submarine training system deployed to schoolhouses all over the US and Australia to meet the training needs of the fleet.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a software engineer for the Multipurpose Interactive Trainers team, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integrating tactical software onto a submarine training system deployed to schoolhouses all over the US and Australia to meet the training needs of the fleet.

- Understanding of the Linux Operating System - CentOS/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/Fedora preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging software integration and operating system issues
- Experience writing and troubleshooting shell scripts using Bash or Python
