This position is onsite from Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm, and weekends/overtime as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform IT support for our service and parts departments.
• Effectively communicates with service technicians on system and software issues.
• Learn and interface with GM Support and Engineering team to facilitate solutions.
• Operate in our dealer management system and train users in the application software.
• Enhance processes for programming automotive vehicle software systems.
• Learn and interface with developing automotive technology.
• Coach the dealership’s users in their daily electronic and software usage techniques.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical or personal computer gaming enthusiast with hardware skills preferred.
• Competency in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
• Basic knowledge of how electronic devices interact with various software systems.
• Basic understanding of the mechanics of automotive vehicles.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver’s license.
• Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.
